Natural Tourist
Canada's natural heritage information has thousands of stories and many of them can be found here at Natural Tourist.
Information is grouped under five categories: Ecology, Fishing, Trails, Paddling and Touring (see the icons to the left).
The stories are searchable on the locator map by category and province or territory. Click on the Ecology icon to the left, and you come to a page
listing ecological articles from across the country and introductions to the other categories. Within each category are subcategories with more specific information –
you can reach subcategories by clicking on the words in the path that appears
across the top right of the story pages.
Natural Tourist offers images and streaming video (Get Quick Time™) to accompany many of the articles. Also, you can use the Search feature to find stories of interest by keyword.
Explore Canada's natural heritage; plan your outdoor adventure; and find out about nature, recreation, heritage sites, festivals, towns, rivers, lakes and landscapes. |
